Caitlin Jarrett
Cailtlin is a violinist with extensive classical training. She loves teaching music!
Caitlin Jarrett is a dedicated and passionate musician who has loved music and the violin for as long as she can remember. Growing up in a home filled with music, she was inspired to start the violin.
Caitlin has been teaching for 8 years. She loves working with kids and watching them grow and become better musicians. She is continuously striving to be a teacher that students can look up to. Caitlin has been awarded the Orchestra activity scholarship and the Dennis and Kristina Reed Scholarship and has had the opportunity to study under many great mentors, such as Dr. Shi-Hwa Wang, Dr. Viktor Uzur, and Dr. Francisco De Galvez.
Caitlin has a degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy with an emphasis in pedagogy at Weber State University. She has had the opportunity to participate in the Weber State Symphony for five years and loves participating in collaborative groups. She has been enjoying collaborations with colleagues, performing string quartets by Quartet Op 96 by Dvorak and Quartet #8 by Shostakovich. Caitlin has played extensive music, such as Romance by Amy Beach and Concerto No. 2 by Charles Auguste De Beriot.
Caitlin is continually striving to grow as a performer as well as an educator. She will continue striving to be the best she can and keep her passion for teaching and to share the joy of music with others.
