Looking for private music lessons in Bluffdale? Encore Academy offers one-on-one instruction for students exploring an instrument or developing their skills. Tell us what you'd like to learn, and we'll help you explore the options.
Choose an instrument
Start with the sound you enjoy and the kind of music you want to play. Think about the space, equipment, and practice time you have at home, too. Our private lesson offerings include:
Piano lessons : Explore the keyboard and learn to play with both hands.
Violin and viola lessons and cello lessons : Explore bowed strings; ask us about choosing an instrument and size.
Voice lessons : Work on singing with individual guidance.
Guitar and ukulele: Ask us about private lessons and what to bring.
Not sure where to start? Tell us the student's interests and experience. We can talk through the choices and confirm current instruction for the instrument you have in mind.
Private lessons and finding a teacher
Private lessons give a student individual time with a teacher. Lesson lengths and scheduling can vary, so ask us which options are available for your instrument. Share the student's age, experience, goals, and preferred times when you inquire.
You can meet music teachers Jacob Austin , Caitlin Jarrett , and Jennifer Williamson in their staff profiles. Contact us to discuss the right teacher and current availability.
Preparing for a first lesson
Before buying an instrument or supplies, ask us what your teacher recommends. If you already have an instrument or music you've been working on, mention it when you inquire. We'll help you find out what to bring.
Tuition and performance
Our tuition page lists music lesson rates and fees. Please confirm current tuition, registration and performance fees, and the lesson length available to you before enrolling. Ask us about current recitals and other performance opportunities, including whether they fit your instrument and experience.
Fiddle Fusion ensemble
Fiddle Fusion is a group ensemble for intermediate players, separate from private lessons. The ensemble has included fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar, and bass. Contact us to ask about the current ensemble, placement, and schedule.
